The new operation expands the group's activity in specialised recruitment and brings together 32 roles in technology, leadership, sales and customer relationships.

The Grupo Efoco is expanding its activities in specialised recruitment with the launch of Efoco Tech, a new vertical dedicated to the selection of technology professionals for positions related to business challenges. The operation officially begins on 1 October 2026 and will operate alongside Efoco Soluções, which specialises in commercial recruitment.

The creation of the new vertical accompanies a change in the role of technology itself within companies. Development, data, infrastructure and security remain fundamental, but technology professionals have also begun to occupy positions directly related to product, revenue, customer relationships, operations and strategy.

In this scenario, Efoco Tech has been structured to view hiring from the perspective of the company's context, rather than just the technical characteristics described in a job vacancy.

“Our process begins with the problem that the company needs to solve, not the CV that appears on the screen. The CV is part of the assessment, but it cannot be the starting point for understanding a complex hire,” states Roberta da Trindade, founder of the Grupo Efoco.

A vertical born from a history that began in 2019

Although officially launched in 2026, the Grupo Efoco's relationship with technology recruitment began back in 2019.

That year, when Roberta decided to become an entrepreneur, the initial idea was to create a commercial training school. The change in direction began after she was approached by a manager who needed help filling a technology vacancy.

The professional mastered the technical side, but had no experience in recruitment and conducting interviews. Roberta took over the process and was subsequently called upon again to conduct a second hire, also in the technology field.

The experience contributed to a perception that would later influence the company's positioning: many managers have a deep knowledge of their technical areas, but do not necessarily have experience in attracting, selecting and assessing professionals.

Efoco ended up taking a different path and specialised in commercial recruitment. Over the years, however, it continued to receive demands related to technology.

“The first hire by Efoco was a technology vacancy. The company grew and specialised in commercial recruitment, but the tech demands never stopped appearing. Efoco Tech is the way to structure this experience into its own vertical,” says Roberta.

Technology connected to business

Efoco Tech brings together 32 roles distributed across four areas of operation.

The Tech Core concentrates positions in development, data, infrastructure, cloud, quality, security and solutions.

The Tech Leadership encompasses leadership, product, engineering, architecture and technological strategy.

The Tech Sales brings together functions related to consultative sales, pre-sales, market intelligence, revenue, strategic accounts and technology partnerships.

The Tech Customer encompasses professionals in Customer Success, implementation, onboarding, technical support and other positions that act as an interface between technology, clients and partners.

The structure reflects the perception that technology recruitment is not limited to hiring developers.

“A company does not hire technology just to fill a technical position. It hires to develop products, solve problems, generate revenue, serve customers or support an operation. It is this connection that we need to understand before looking for the professional,” explains Roberta.

Technology companies and other sectors

Efoco Tech's activities are not restricted to companies whose main business is technology. Organisations in different segments may need to hire professionals to develop digital products, work with data, modernise operations, structure infrastructure, support sales or improve customer experience.

For this reason, the process begins with an understanding of the business and the challenge that gave rise to the hire. From this context, the professional profile, assessment criteria and the technical and behavioural competencies required for the position are defined.

Efoco Tech now joins the Grupo Efoco alongside Efoco Soluções, maintaining a common perspective between the two verticals: understanding the company's context before starting the search for the professional.

The Efoco Soluções specialises in commercial recruitment, with activities in sales, customer service, marketing and call centre vacancies. The Efoco Tech expands this activity to technology professionals applied to business challenges.

With the launch, the Grupo Efoco reinforces its activities in specialised recruitment and expands its service to companies in different sectors throughout Brazil.
