Rossi López presents "Gracias a la Vida", a musical celebration of resilience, gratitude and hope

The tropical salsa singer Rossi López, known to the Latin public as La Dama del Sabor, presents her new single “Gracias a la Vida", a refreshed interpretation of the emblematic track by Violeta Parra that finds a new expression through Caribbean rhythms and the artistic sensitivity that has defined the performer's career.

For Rossi, this release transcends the traditional concept of a musical cover. The song represents a deeply personal declaration of gratitude for the challenges overcome, the opportunities received and the path travelled both within and outside of music. Her story, marked by perseverance, family dedication and artistic passion, finds in this work a perfect vehicle to convey a message of hope and strength.

Born in Panama, Rossi López discovered her love for music at an early age, inspired by legendary figures such as Celia Cruz and La Lupe. However, her artistic dream had to wait when she decided to dedicate a large part of her life to the care of her son, who was diagnosed with autism. Years later, when her family circumstances allowed, she returned to her artistic vocation with a determination that has led her to consolidate a career recognised in the United States and various international stages.

With "Gracias a la Vida", Rossi brings an optimistic and bright reading of one of the most important compositions in the Latin American repertoire. The production preserves the poetic essence of the original work and transforms it into a vibrant musical experience, designed to connect emotionally with audiences of different generations.

The sound quality of the single is backed by a team of renowned professionals in tropical music. The arrangements, mixing and mastering were handled by Jorge Cortez, while the brass and percussion section was developed by Venezuelan producer Víctor Gámez (PioloSound), providing interpretive strength, tropical identity and a contemporary sound.

"This song has a very special meaning for me. It speaks of being grateful for every stage of life, even the most difficult moments that in the end make us stronger. I wanted to interpret it from a place of joy, hope and love for our Latin music", expresses Rossi López.

Throughout her career, Rossi has been recognised at important international events and festivals, obtaining distinctions such as Ambassador of Panama at the Miami International Song Festival and awards on various platforms dedicated to Latin music. Her repertoire includes productions such as "Bongó", "La Vida Es Esa", "Yo Viviré" and "Soy Sonera", works that have consolidated an artistic proposal characterised by respect for the salsa tradition and interpretive authenticity.

With this new release, Rossi López reaffirms her commitment to spreading positive messages through music and strengthens her positioning as one of the female voices of tropical salsa with the greatest identity within the contemporary Latin landscape.
