GalleryDock Connects Client Photo Delivery with Photographers’ Own Websites

GalleryDock brings website embedding to its international English-language platform, combining client photo galleries, password protection and video feedback with a free starting allowance of three galleries.

GalleryDock Connects Client Photo Delivery with Photographers’ Own Websites

Hannover, Germany — GalleryDock has made website embedding available internationally through its English-language client gallery platform. Introduced on October 4, 2026, the capability allows photographers to place an online photo gallery on a compatible page of their own website by copying and pasting a supplied embed code.

The update addresses a practical stage in the photography workflow: what happens after a shoot. A portfolio introduces a photographer’s work, while a client gallery gives an individual customer a place to review a collection and receive images. Embedding connects these experiences within the photographer’s existing web presence.

Bringing client galleries into an existing website

Photographers prepare their collection in GalleryDock, obtain the gallery’s embed code and insert it into a page that supports embedded content. The receiving website must accept the code, and compatibility depends on the website builder, page settings and any restrictions imposed by the hosting environment. The feature does not require rebuilding the photographer’s entire website.

This approach can be useful for a studio that already has a portfolio, service pages and contact information online. A dedicated gallery page can sit alongside those existing pages, giving the photographer a way to connect image presentation with the customer delivery process. GalleryDock provides an English guide to website embedding explaining the setup.

Photo selection and delivery after the shoot

GalleryDock combines online photo presentation with client selection and image downloads. Photographers can organize a shoot as a dedicated collection, while clients can review the photographs in a gallery rather than navigate a series of separate messages or file attachments. The workflow applies to assignments such as portraits, weddings and commercial photography.

For example, a photographer preparing a portrait collection can use a client gallery to present the images for selection. The same general workflow gives the client a central place to return to when reviewing the photographs. The choice of images and the delivery arrangements remain part of the agreement between the photographer and the customer.

Password protection for client collections

Some image collections are intended for a particular customer rather than a public portfolio. GalleryDock offers password protection for client galleries, allowing photographers to share access information with the intended audience. This is a separate consideration from where a gallery appears on a website: embedding determines its placement, while access settings determine how visitors enter it.

Photographers should review the gallery settings before sending the page to a client and share the password through an appropriate channel. Further setup information is available in GalleryDock’s password-protected client gallery guide.

Video feedback for projects with moving images

The platform also supports filmmakers and photographers who deliver video. Clients can attach feedback to specific playback moments, connecting a comment with the relevant part of the footage. This gives the filmmaker context when reviewing requested changes. Editing the video itself takes place separately in the filmmaker’s editing software.

Three galleries available with a free account

A free GalleryDock account includes three galleries and 1 GB of storage. This provides a starting allowance for trying photo presentation and client delivery before deciding whether additional capacity is needed. GalleryDock also offers an optional print shop for photographic print sales; applicable shop fees are separate from the free account allowance.

The international embedding capability follows the September 24, 2026 launch of GalleryDock’s English-language platform. The software is available in English and German, supporting photographers who work with customers across different markets.
