2 October 2026. Silviu Zag worked as a lifeguard before dedicating himself to digital business. He was also a waiter and a DJ. His journey did not begin with an office, a team, or a background in marketing. It began by working, testing ideas, and wondering how to build an activity that depended on his own decisions.

Born in Romania, he arrived in Spain as a baby and grew up on the Costa Brava. According to his autobiographical account, he was already drawn to the internet as a place where businesses could emerge during his adolescence. Those attempts were experiments filled with errors and learning; they were not equivalent to knowing the infoproducts sector or knowing how to build a company.

Following his jobs in the service sector, he worked in a transport company and took on increasingly greater responsibilities. That phase taught him how to coordinate people and solve problems under pressure. It also made him ask a question that would eventually change his career: if he could help grow someone else's company, what would happen if he applied that energy to a project of his own?

He tested e-commerce. He experienced months of intense activity and, later, a business crisis that forced him to rethink his way of entrepreneurship. Rather than presenting that stage as a straight line to success, Zag explains it as the moment he had to learn to distinguish between sales, business operations, and risk.

Zag states that he has tested every online business model he set out to explore and that he managed to make each one profitable. He presents this as the result of testing offers, channels, and ways of selling until he understood what each project needed. This is a statement about his own trajectory, without attributing specific figures to those businesses.

His next step was infoproducts: businesses that create and market knowledge in digital formats. He arrived at that model without prior experience in the sector. He began working with professionals and creators on defining their offers, their communication, and their sales processes. Over time, that work took shape in Worldketing, a project that is presented today as a digital growth agency.

Today, infoproducts occupy the centre of his activity. They can take the form of training programmes, downloadable resources, or digital support. At Worldketing, the work begins by identifying what a professional knows how to do, who it might be useful for, and how to turn it into a clear offer. Then come the message, the content, attracting interested people, and a sales process that can be measured and improved. Zag's thesis is that knowledge requires a concrete problem to respond to and a responsible way of reaching those who need it.

Zag summarises his way of thinking in one phrase: "Everything is patterns". For him, entrepreneurship requires observing what people need, understanding why an offer interests them or creates doubts for them, and building a concrete response. His proposal combines that reading of the client with execution: testing a message, listening to the response, correcting, and trying again.

His journey raises useful questions for those starting out on the internet. What skills acquired outside the digital world are useful for entrepreneurship? How does one learn an unknown model without pretending it is already mastered? What errors should one acknowledge before growing? Zag addresses these questions from his experience as a worker and founder.

Worldketing is the current expression of that journey.
